In democracy, media is regarded as the fourth estate. In otherwords, it is regarded as one of the four pillars which holds the :democracy". That means it has a vital role to play along with Legislature,Executive and Judiciary to uphold the norms of democracy. The "Press" has an important role to educate the people about politics and administration. They are widely interacting with the mass public.
But now a days the media in India, especially in the southern state of Kerala, is engaged in casting false and distorted news.
